  • Blooming begins in late spring with numerous flowering spikes held above attractive scalloped green leaves.
  • A great early season hummingbird plant
  • Perfect perennial for a shady courtyard, favorite container or under deciduous trees.
  • Effective as an edger along paths or walkways. May be grown in containers
  • Do not bury plant crown, when transplanting.
  • Requires well drained soil (cannot stand water logging). Wait until soil is dry before each watering.
  • When in ground, mulch heavily around plant before winter to prevent frost heaving damaging roots.
